A free yearly goal planner for Notion. Set your goals, break them into steps, and see your progress by quarter, month and category.

## What is a 2027 goal tracker in Notion?

A goal tracker gives your goals one home. Instead of scattered notes and a list you forget by February, each goal sits in a Notion database with a category, a quarter and a date.

This free 2027 Yearly Goal Tracker & Planner is a ready-made Notion workspace for that. Duplicate it, replace the sample goals with your own, and you have a yearly goal planner you can review every month.

## How the yearly goal planner works

Start with the **2027 Goals** database. Add three to six goals, and give each one a category, a quarter and a date.

Then break each goal into sub-items. Checking them off is how you see progress, so a big goal like "get fitter" becomes a handful of small steps you can finish.

From there, the same goals show up in different views:

- **Goal Progress** to see how far along each goal is.
- **All Goals** for the full list.
- **Quarterly Goals** to plan the year in four parts.
- **Monthly Goals** to see what needs attention now.
- **Goals by Category** to check that your goals are balanced.

## Set your focus for the year

At the top of the template is a short Focus section. Pick a **Word of the Year** to describe how you want 2027 to feel, write your **Top 3 Priorities**, and note **My Why** so you remember why these goals matter when motivation drops.

## Review your year in December

The template ends with a **Year-End Review**: your biggest wins, which goals you completed and what helped, what got in the way, what you are most proud of, and what you will carry into 2028.

## Who is this goal tracker for?

It suits anyone who wants a simple way to set new year goals in Notion without building a system from scratch: students planning an academic year, freelancers and creators balancing work goals with personal ones, or anyone who wants a yearly planner they can check in a few minutes a month.

If you want one workspace for daily tasks, habits and expenses as well as goals, see the [2027 Life Planner](/notion-templates/notion-life-planner-template) or compare other [Notion planner templates](/collections/best-notion-planner-templates).
